Below is a list of our regular events that run throughout the year…
We meet on a Sunday morning from 10am until midday at Wilcombe Primary School in Tiverton. This is intended to be a relaxed, informal service where people can come and get to know each other better. It has been intentionally designed to cater for people of all ages and also for people at varying stages of their journey of finding out more about God (and having a relationship with Him). For example, it is completely normal for a child to be noisily enjoying a craft activity in one part of the room while someone else catches up with a friend over coffee in another part of the room……and all whilst a third person takes the opportunity to find a quiet corner and receive prayer for something they are struggling with in their life.
This is the very first expression of what we hope that Tiverton Vineyard Church becomes on a larger scale in the future: a vibrant, diverse and fun community of people who share their lives together.
We take this opportunity to worship God by singing about 4 contemporary worship songs, learning from a talk based on the Bible and of course, we wouldn’t want to do this without an exhaustive supply of fresh coffee, all sorts of tea and a variety of cookies (including Gluten Free).
We currently have three Homegroups: one on Wednesday nights led by John and Jude at their home in Tiverton, another which meets on Thursday nights led by Joff and Jodie at their house on the edge of Tiverton, and a third on Tuesday nights led by Mike, Helen and Annette, which meets at Mike and Helen’s house in Uffculme.
These groups offer a welcoming environment where people can feel comfortable, regardless of where they are in their journey with God. This is often a great environment for people to ask any questions that they may have (about God, the universe and everything!) as well as a chance to worship God, pray and read/discuss short parts of the Bible together.
Don’t be scared though – we intentionally try to create environments that are accessible, comfortable and real. Importantly, there is always a lot of laughter, as well as an abundance of tasty cakes, cups of tea and fresh coffee!

As many of us have small children, these events are family-friendly wherever possible.
