Lunch on the Go and Breakfast on the Go are part of a town-wide initiative to provide meals for people of the town throughout the week. Tiverton Vineyard Church runs Breakfast and Lunch on the Go on Fridays at Sunningmead Community Centre. Anyone can drop in for food and company!

Since the first year of Tiverton Vineyard Church, we have provided financial support to CHAT (Churches Housing Action Team).

CHAT was founded by christians who were concerned by the large number of people experiencing housing difficulty in Mid Devon.
They believe that everyone is entitled to decent, secure and affordable housing – somewhere to call home.
CHAT gives free, impartial and confidential Housing Advice in person, over the phone or by email, and their advisers can act on your behalf where necessary.

More information about the work of CHAT can be found here: www.chatmid.org

In January 2019 Tiverton Vineyard launched a weekly soft-play session (U-Play) for parents, carers and their 0-4s. U-Play is held at the Exe Valley Leisure Centre in Tiverton on Mondays from 1.30-2.30pm during term time. The session is mostly softplay, with a short sing-along time at the end of the session. All parents/carers and 0-4s are welcome and the session is free to attend!

Book Buddies is a simple but effective way that Tiverton Vineyard Church serves the schools in the town – our volunteers go into local schools and listen to children read for a short session once a week. This has a huge impact on individual children’s confidence and reading ability, and is a really good way to provide support to the schools and their staff.
