As a Church we’re trying to respond to current events with wisdom and caution, in a way that best serves the community, so we have taken the decision to suspend all Church activities – both Sunday services and any midweek groups or events.
We are mindful of the fact that as soon as we bring people together, we are increasing the risk that the virus will spread around our Church and hurt those who are most vulnerable, both in our Church family and wider society. Furthermore, it is now the Government’s guidance for all of us to avoid non-essential travel and social contact wherever possible.
Do remember however…just because we can’t gather together AS THE CHURCH, we can still BE THE CHURCH.
We will be focussing our efforts on these areas:
💬📱☎️ Use technology such as WhatsApp, Messenger or Skype (even the phone!) for Home groups, and to check in with one another so that no one in our Church family feels isolated.
If you have a particular need, do contact us and we will do our best to help.
We are working on digital tools which will allow us to connect for worship and teaching.
❤️❤️❤️ Love and support our local community – this is an amazing opportunity to demonstrate the Kingdom to those around us!
Here is a very practical way to offer help to your neighbours.
Contact growbaby@tivertonvineyard.com or john@tivertonvineyard.com if you would like some of these printed out for your use or, alternatively, you can print these at home.
🙏🙏🙏 We believe in the power of prayer, remember the 3 P’s (pray for the People suffering, those providing Practical help and our Politicians and key decision makers)
At the National Leaders Conference in January, John Mark Comer spoke on what it is to be a non-anxious presence. This is all the more relevant in this current climate:

We will continue to trust God throughout this time, He is our Rock and Anchor and we have an opportunity to be His hands and feet wherever we find ourselves.
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
